The Bread and Roses Heritage Committee (BRHC) was established to keep alive and honor the memory of the great Lawrence textile worker’s strike of 1912, popularly known as the “Bread and Roses Strike.” BRHC accomplishes this through a program, The Bread and Roses Heritage Festival, that celebrates Lawrence’s many cultures, both past and present, and to remember the labor movement’s struggle for things we take for granted today.
We invite you to help us continue the great work of preserving Lawrence’s labor history supporting our arts/culture/historical/activist Festival by choosing one of the sponsorship levels below. Features of the Festival include live music, community vendors, family activites, historical trolley and walking tours, great food, and more!
