Rte 93 North to Rte 495 North

From Route 495 North or South

Take exit 45 (Marston Street). From Marston Street take first left onto Canal Street. Go straight and turn onto Mill Street. Continue on Mill and turn left on Essex St. Turn onto Jackson and you should find some street parking. Festival performers and vendors may also park in the Lawrence Senior Center lot, at 155 Haverhill Street.

By Train

Lawrence is on the MBTA commuter rail, Haverhill/Reading line, from North Station in Boston. See mbta.com for schedule and rates.

Take the MBTA Haverhill Line from North Station to Lawrence Station.
From the station, it's approximately a 10–15 minute walk to Lawrence Heritage State Park.


If you're arriving by train, the walk from Lawrence Station to Lawrence Heritage State Park is about 10–15 minutes (approximately 0.6 miles).
Walking Directions
Exit the station onto Merrimack Street.
Walk west on Merrimack Street toward downtown Lawrence.
Turn right onto Jackson Street.
Continue straight for about two blocks.
The entrance to Lawrence Heritage State Park at 1 Jackson Street will be on your left.



Parking

Limited free parking is available on Essex St and Jackson St.
Additional public parking garages and on-street parking are available throughout Downtown Lawrence.
Street parking is free in the City of Lawrence on Labor Day. There is a great deal of street parking around the Lawrence Heritage State Park, our Festival site.
