FESTIVAL COMMITTEE
The Bread and Roses Festival is organized every year by the Bread and Roses Heritage Committee (BRHC). The committee is a volunteer run 501(c)(3) non-profit based out of an office at the Lawrence Heritage State Park. BRHC was founded in 1985 to plan events for the 75th anniversary of the 1912 Lawrence strike. The committee is lead by a Board of Directors and a Council representing a wide spectrum of the community. Meetings are held monthly and are open to the public.
